Why an Email List is so Important
Growing your business online, offline, or through social media is all about your list. Your list IS your business. Your products are not your inventory. Your inventory is people.
All businesses make a profit by converting interested people into customers that purchase your product or service.
Even when you’re building a Network Marketing empire, you have your own customer base, and create leverage through sponsoring other distributors who purchase your product or service, and they in turn develop a customer base, and you’re paid on the sales volume, or purchases made by their customers too.
Automate Your Follow Up with an Autoresponder
The majority of people are not going to make a decision to purchase from you, or partner with you by becoming a distributor when they first express an interest. Statistics show that most buying decisions happen on the 7th follow-up.
Naturally you can’t be calling hundreds and thousands of people a day, and determining the right time to make your next contact to an interested prospect. You must be adding new people to your list every single day.
You want to be able to identify which of your prospects should get a phone call, and which ones can continue to be followed up with helpful information, delivered in a timely manner, and not all at once.
Your autoresponder can have a series of pre-written messages about specific benefits of your products, service, and business sent out at pre-determined times, and allow them to digest, research, and explore the things they need to know, in order to make a decision.
Your autoresponder follow up emails will also allow them the time they need to learn more about you, and why they should choose you to purchase from, or work with.
Your Marketing Funnel
Look at your business like a funnel. At the top, or wide part of the funnel is where people enter. New people enter each day. Some people pass through the funnel more quickly, by arriving at a decision to purchase, or say no thank you by opting out of your information.
Your funnel is like a sorting system. Yes your business is about people, but it’s also about sorting those people, quickly, and efficiently. It IS a numbers game.
